Dynamic Quick Start Guide

Unleash the full potential of your grow.

Dynamic Range Quick Start Guide.

The Telos Mesh app puts you in complete control of multiple grow light outputs and schedules. This cutting-edge technology wirelessly communicates with Growcast Controller(s), delivering precision dimming and synchronised PPDR output across multi-fixture grow rooms.

This guide will help you seamlessly integrate Telos systems into your grow space via Telos Mesh.

Get Started:

Download Telos Mesh onto a smart device from the Google Play or Apple App Store.

Accept the app’s connectivity permissions upon launch, allowing it to wirelessly search for and connect to your Growcast.

1. Connect to Mesh:

On the home screen, click ‘Create network’ and name your new Mesh network.

Then, choose between creating a Private or Cloud network.

Private Mode: Private mode simplifies network creation by saving all Mesh settings on your device. Manual recovery is required if your device is lost, or the app is deleted.

Cloud Mode (Coming Soon): Cloud mode saves all network settings to the cloud, making multi-devise setup and network recovery easier.

Advanced Settings: Use this option to select the network model version. Version 2 is recommended.

After completing initial set-up, you are now ready to connect your Telos fixtures.

2. Pair Your Light Fixtures:

Automatically locate and pair your Dynamic fixtures via the ‘Lights’ page.

Select your Dynamic fixture from the app’s library, then configure the number of connected fixtures. This enables accurate output mapping and system synchronisation.

Once your Dynamic fixtures are visible and wirelessly connected to the app, link them to your grow space in the ‘Rooms’ screen.

3. Build Your Digital Grow Rooms:

‘Rooms’ allows you to optimise lighting outputs in multi-light setups tailored to different plant growth stages.

Tap ‘Add new room’ to create a grow room. It helps to name rooms according to the growth phase e.g., propagation, veg, or flower.

Input room dimensions and hanging height to calculate PPFD at canopy level. This ensures a balanced and even spread of light, promoting consistent growth across all plant levels.

Selecting wall material calculates light reflectivity, helping to avoid oversaturation and heat stress in the grow space.

Tap the newly created room to add Dynamic fixture(s).

Use ‘Light Controls’ to adjust output and dimming levels across the room.

Set PAR output (PPFD) and scale dimming (0—100%), then apply a timing schedule for all fixtures connected to your grow room.

4. Create Precise Scheduling:

Create precise day-night cycling via the ‘Schedules’ screen.

Sync lighting schedules with plants’ natural photosynthetic rhythms, significantly reducing energy waste and preventing oversaturation.

Each grow room can be set up to follow different schedules to align with various growth stages.

Tap ‘Add new schedule’ and name it according to your plants’ growth phase.

Set the schedule’s start and end times.

The Sunrise/Sunset feature encourages gradual light transitions, supporting healthier development and more natural growth cycles.

5. Advanced Settings:

Seamlessly manage the network’s general settings in the ‘Settings’ page.

This page ensures full system functionality, allowing you to change grow room names, system date and time, and delete networks.

‘Network Lock’ improves privacy by hiding the network’s public connection and disconnecting your device when away from the grow room. To reconnect, manually unlock the network by pressing the Telos Growcast 5 times.

Further optimise app functionality via ‘Advanced settings’, with options for automatic firmware updates and fixture paring management.
